It is now
six months since the Redfern Waterloo Authority was proclaimed. During this
time the RWA has sought to establish itself, recruit staff and commence work on
the job of revitalising the area.
I have
convened a Community Meeting for housing tenants to be held at the PCYC at 638 Elizabeth Street
Redfern on Saturday 9 July 2005 at 11am.
The meeting
will provide housing tenants with the latest information about the area as well
as offer you the opportunity to ask about matters of concern to you.
I will be
attending the meeting along with representatives from the Redfern Police,
Department of Housing, the City of Sydney
Council and your Local Member Kristina Keneally MP.
I encourage
you to take part in this meeting and I look forward to seeing as many of you as
possible on the 9 July.
