UGDC has appointed Nace Civil Engineering to construct the site
infrastructure works to support future  affordable housing.  This work
is in the western portion of the North Eveleigh site and includes road
realignment within the site, associated roadworks, some demolition work,
new services and landscaping.  These works are scheduled to commence in
January 2013.  Working hours for the project will be from Monday to
Friday 7.30am to 5.30pm and Saturday 7.30am to 3.30pm.  Please contact

or if any issues arise during construction.

UGDC is also pleased
to advise City West Housing Pty Ltd  has been appointed to seek planning
approval and subsequently build and operate Affordable Housing on the
site (at least 61 dwellings). City West will submit a development
application for the affordable housing dwellings to the Department of
Planning and Infrastructure, which should occur prior to mid-2013.   Any
