Ciaron O’Reilly has spent his adult life with Dorothy Day’s Catholic Worker movement (www.catholicworker.org), living and working with the homeless in Australia, England, Ireland and the United States while engaging in prophetic nonviolent resistance to war preparations and war making.

Fool for Christ: the story of Dorothy Day is a stage play written and performed by Sarah Melici. This film version is unavailable in Australia.

Actor’s Statement: “After much research on the life of Dorothy Day, I felt the need to share her vision of active nonviolence and peace, as well as her work to promote social, economic and political justice. I want people to know Dorothy Day: the writer, the lover, the mother, the teacher, the friend.”
