Following its enormous success over the last three years, Danks Street Festival returns with more entertainment, art, food and fun than ever before to celebrate one of Sydney’s most interesting precincts.

from Boom Band Krewe, The Resurrectors, Tracy Redhead, The Donovans as
well as DJ’s Leigh Wood, and Steve Griffiths, art galleries, Artists
Market, Design Market and Arty Pants area just for kids.

Artists Market, Design Market & Art Exhibitions –
Shop for a masterpiece at the Artists Market with works from local
artists, and visit exhibitions at some of Sydney’s finest galleries. 
PYD Design Markets will be held for the first time with original
jewellery, accessories, furniture and much more.

Arty Pants
– hands on art activities for children.  Let the kids get creative with
local artist Pip Playford with photo frame making out of recycled goods
that the kids can take home.

Produce Market (Young Street) – You will be able to pick up fresh fruit and vegetables from Hawkesbury Harvest as well as jams, olive oils and fresh bread.

Specialty Food – Stalls from local cafes and restaurants selling loads of fabulous food.

Festival
Ambassador and Danks Street Depot chef/owner Jared Ingersoll will be
serving up delicious BBQ pure bred Suffolk lamb rolls with pomegranate
and mint salsa, cous cous, salad and coffees.

For quality jams,
oils, tapenades and marinades make sure you check out Bitton Gourmet.
Eumundi Smokehouse will have all your smoked and cured meat goods. If
it’s something sweet you’re after, why not grab an ice cream at
Serendipity Ice Cream.

Transport – Catching
Public transport, cycling or walking to the event is strongly
recommended as parking is very limited. See below for details:

Bike Parking – Free bike parking will be located at the event. Please bring a lock to secure your bike.

Free
community bus – two routes servicing Redfern, Waterloo, Surry Hills and
Darlinghurst to and from Danks Street. For a map showing routes and

– #343 down Elizabeth Street, alight at the corner of Phillip Street,
