This workshop is intended to provoke a discussion about the
challenges and benefits of living in a densely populated neighbourhood and
encourage Waterloo residents to think about how this will change with the
redevelopment of Waterloo Estate.
We ask that you pass on this information to you neighbours,
clients and colleagues and RSVP to either myself or Thomas Chailloux cb@innersydneyvoice.org.au
An open and inclusive capacity building workshop and
community discussion about “density done well” (and not so well..) .Drawing
on the residents knowledge and experience of living in Waterloo, we will
discuss strengths and weaknesses of such a high density neighbourhood and try
to think about how urban planning and good design can help maximise positive
outcomes and
What is it like to
live in a very dense area?
How do we design places
so a more dense Waterloo is a
nice place to live?
