On behalf
of public housing tenants I have asked the Minister for Redfern and Waterloo to make a
statement on the future of public housing in the local area.
This
statement is attached, with translations in Russian and Chinese.
The good
news is that the Minister states that the NSW Government will not reduce the
amount of public housing in Redfern and Waterloo,
nor disadvantage current residents.
Make no
mistake – all tenancies are secure.
