Thanks for the Money – The Inner City Mobile Play Bus program

The Inner City Mobile Play Bus program, essentially a
playgroup for under-priviliged kids in the Redfern area, can now continue for
another 12 months, thanks to a grant of $97,500 from the NSW Department of Community
Services (DoCS). Over 900 families use the facilities every month and the
benefit to kids is enormous.

Thanks go in particular to Verity Firth, who championed it
on parents’ behalf.
