Celebrating Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander Cultures at Gadigal's 10th Annual 'Yabun Festival' ... All Welcome Thursday, 26 January 2012 ... 10am - 6pm ... Victoria Park, Broadway. This year Yabun features Jessica Mauboy, Dan Sultan and Christine Anu.
This informal gathering is for all volunteers, community workers, reps and all those interested in Redfern Waterloo. It happens on the last Friday of the Month at the Alexandria Hotel at 1pm. It is a great way of having a good chat with someone or to speak-out about something. Its great fun, we can eat and drink.
The South Sydney Rabbitohs first game of the 2012 NRL season will be played against the Warrington Wolves at Redfern Oval on Saturday 28 January 2012 – continuing the tradition of the South’s annual Return to Redfern match. The event will include the traditional presentation of new player’s first South Sydney jersey and there will be many activities on the day including children’s entertainment.

Neighbourhood Advisory Board (NAB) Meeting for NAB Representatives. The Housing Standards meetings for Redfern are held one hour before each NAB at 9am.
The discussion will focus on the design concept, and we would like to hear your ideas on making this a welcoming and attractive space. To get you started, please find below a link to the design concept as prepared by the landscape architect following previous community consultation sessions.

ATP will be a hub of activity for the ATP Open Day on Saturday, 25 February 2012 with lots of exciting events planned for young and old to showcase the Park’s facilities.
The first Eveleigh Railway Film Festival will be held in conjunction with the Australian Technology Park Open Day on Saturday 25 February 2012. Films will run in two locations at the ATP - The Atrium Theatre and Bay 6 Theatre.
The March REDWatch Meeting will focus on Community Facilities & Services - challenges now and in the future. In 2011 the RWA started a Community Facilities Review but this was not complete and has become part of the Social Impact Assessment Scoping being done by the SMDA. This meet will provide an opportunity for the issues from the perspective of both service users and service providers to be explored.
