The City of Sydney invites Housing NSW tenants to speak to the Lord Mayor, Clover Moore, Councillors, City of Sydney staff, Housing NSW and Redfern Police about any issues.
This meeting has been postponed due to clash with the Premiere of REDFERN Now on the Block on 31 October. We will set a new date and advertise as soon as possible.
The November REDWatch meeting will start with a brief AGM at 6pm. This will be followed by a presentation by Kimberlee Guenther who has been working with public housing residents to develop a Residents’ Research Bill of Rights this will lead into a discussion about how this might also be taken up in Redfern and Waterloo.
Due to the level of public interest in the application, the Planning Assessment Commission (PAC) will be meeting to hear public views on the Department’s assessment report and recommendation, prior to determining the project.

Neighbourhood Advisory Board (NAB) Meeting for NAB Representatives. The Housing Standards meetings for Redfern are held one hour before each NAB at 9am.

A family fun day with events will embrace community life and bring together agencies, residents young and old, and celebrate the wonderful communities that we have here in Redfern. This events will also celebrate White Ribbon Day.
This informal gathering is for all volunteers, community workers, reps and all those interested in Redfern Waterloo. It happens on the last Friday of the Month at the Alexandria Hotel at 1pm. It is a great way of having a good chat with someone or to speak-out about something. Its great fun, we can eat and drink.

The Lift Redfern Station Campaign will start the year with a meeting of interested people to work on the next strage of the campaign. So if you have some ideas and time then come to The Factory on Wednesday 30th January 2013 and contribute to the Lift Redfern Campaign for 2013.
REDWatch will kick off our 2013 meetings with a presentation from UrbanGrowth NSW about the new organisation and the role of the former SMDA now UrbanGrowth Development Corporation (UGDC). This will be at the Factory 67 Raglan Street Waterloo at 6pm Thursday 7th February. REDWatch Meets on the first Thursday of the month except January.
