Each year the Factory Community Centre host the Annual Volunteer Awards for Redfern and Waterloo. Nominations have been made, those nominated and their friends have been invited to attend the above celebration. The Factory CC will also be celebrating the recent upgrades to the centre.
Following the success of the very first Finders Keepers design markets held in December, the founders Sarah Thornton and Brooke Johnston have announced new dates for Autumn/Winter 2009. The Finders Keepers market will once again be held at contemporary art centre CarriageWorks in Sydneyʼs Inner West and will showcase over 75 young designers, artists and musicians.
